Mehraveh Sharifinia crowned best at Greece Bridges filmfest
The Best Actress Award has been given to Mehraveh Sharifinia at the Bridges International Film Festival.
The Bridges Festival was the second international screening of “Wander About Me” in Greece. It was nominated for Best Actress, Best Filming (Mohammad-Reza Sokut), and Best Editor (Kaveh Imani). The Best Actress Award went to Mehraveh Sharifinia.
The feature-length motion picture “Wander About Me” was also in the lineup of the Marbella International Film Festival in the Competition category, where Mehraveh Sharifinia was nominated for Best Film Actress.
Other members of the cast include Behnaz Jafari, Susan Maghsudlu, Nasrin Nakisa, Bahram Sarvarinejad, Atusa Rasti, Babak Ghaderi, Maryam Nurmohammadi, Jila Shahi, Mohsen Soleimani, Paria Marandiz, Negar Fathi, Fujan Ghobadian, and Ali Golizadeh. The young actors of the film are Mahan Balajaddeh, Baran Nasirlu, and Arnika Nikzad.
“Wander About Me” is about a single girl who lives in Tehran on the threshold of turning thirty and decides to pursue her dream
The festival took place in Corinth from October 12 to 18 and Nafplio from October 19 to 22.
The best actor award went to French actor Benoit Chauvin for his role in “The Ones Who Stay”.
“Four Chinese Poems” by director Cui Ren also received awards in several categories, including best film design, best film edit and best set.
The award for best art film was presented to “Impromptu” by Gio Kaptra from Italy.
